Hebron Wine Tasting
At the top of the Piekenierskloof pass, just as you’re about to head down towards Citrusdal, why not take a break and stretch your legs at the Piekenierskloof tasting room? Situated on the same property as the Hebron Guesthouse and restaurant, headed up by the wonderful Steve and Caro Oldroyd, the tasting room gives one the opportunity to try everything that we have on offer, from the fan-favourite Grenache Rosé, to the Stonedance and Six Hats ranges.
During the summertime, seek refuge from the heat and cool down with a bottle of white. During the winter, come inside and warm your hands next to the hearth – there’s plenty of room for everyone. Our wine hosts will make sure that your cup never runs dry! They’ll also provide you with all the information you could ever want about our wines and what goes into making them – from the terroir, to the tasting notes.
After your tasting, head on over to Hebron’s restaurant, just a short stumble away (depending on how much wine you’ve tasted up until then). Indulge in a meal that would make a gourmet chef proud, paired with your favourite Piekenierskloof wine – whether it be their amazing slow-roasted pork belly with Grenache, or feta and herb spanakopitas with a delicate Chenin blanc.
So take a load off, spend some time on the lawn with a glass of wine, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Piekenierskloof.
